I like old, muscle cars; old rock & roll; football; roadtrips; drive-in movies; faded, blue jeans; and worn-out sneakers. I am a member in the USAF Civil Air Patrol and have a brown belt in Wado-Ryu which has helped out in a few scraps. I am also an insulin-dependent diabetic.
Years ago I was involved with a Christian outreach program that provided assistance to teenage runaways, substance abusers, and gang members. There was a time that my life was no different than theirs. These days I train inner-city kids in boxing and officiate at karate tournaments. If I can change one child's life for the better then there is hope to change others.
My life's journey has had it share of twists and turns, but I have met some, good folks along the way. I would not trade it.
